On March 3, 2003 at 1:00pm, we were able to meet with both Michele and Kris Hansen-Kieffer for our fouth project meeting. Dana, Dave, and Jason were all present.

ER Diagram Issues
- Reuse of contact's organization info (seperate entity)? Yes, Extra Low Priority
- Reuse of library resources' publication info (seperate entity)? Yes, Low Priority
Calendar layout
We printed out some websites that have calendars oriented towards gender issues for Michele and Kris to browse and get a feel for the possible design decisions. These are the things they liked:
Website layout
Ask Don Spidel to develop non-database web content
- Calendar main page OR couple paragraphs about GI
- GI will want to post a page of links to outside resources as soon as the website is up
Hand off style/design decisions (color, font, etc.) to Don
- GI has no developed style / logo
- Make it fit with Messiah style
- We will work with calendar/form layout but our goal is to make it as style-independent as possible
Sample Data
- The Gender Initiative would like to start collecting event info / contacts info from its members. Michele will get us this sample data
Other requirements issues
- All contacts info will be visible to public users except for a special comments field available for internal users only.
- Lookup a contact in contacts database to use as contact when adding event? Yes, priority Low
- "Copy" event to add to calendar again? Yes, priority Med or Low, our judgement
Presentation
- A couple weeks after break they would like us to demo our prototype / field questions at a Gender Initiative meeting.
