Summarize Results of Milestone:
- Our analysis process has help us think through the calendar system more thoroughly. Michele as always has been helpful with quick & decisive feedback. We updated the SRS to make some areas more clear. The analysis took more of our time than we thought, so we have changed our project plan to postpone most of the calendar system UI to Milestone 4.
Strengths of Milestone:
- Allowing ourselves to begin some implementation during the stage where we are also documenting our analysis has helped us to identify and rectify a lot of issues early on.
Weaknesses of Milestone:
- As suspected, along with the overall analysis, we did not have much time to spend on calendar implementation. We have moved any real presentable version of the calendar UI to Milestone 4. We do not believe this will put us further behind since there was a lot more room in Milestone 4 already (the contacts database functionality is significantly less complicated than for the calendar).
Project Status:
- Yellow: Project has some risk of not being completed according to plan, but the risks faced by the project are well-known and we believe we have a plan to resolve the risks and successfully complete the project. Reasons discussed above.
